2005 Worthy
Gus Kalaris is the undisputed champion when it comes to delivering remarkable value in a California cabernet. This vintage offers blackberry, cassis liqueur and spicy cedar scents on the nose. Rich blackberry jam, black cherry and dark plums fill the mouth while well-integrated tannins support notes of melted licorice on the supple-yet-lengthy finish. Serve with New York strip steak.

In-Store Croney Tasting
Last night, Schneider's hosted winemaker and friend Greg Crone from Coney wines for an in-store tasting that we've been promoting in our weekly e-mail newsletter. Greg entertained the crowds that gathered in our wine room while serving the fruits of his labor - the delicious 2007 Croney 3 Ton Sauvignon Blanc, in addition to a few other favorites from New Zealand and Australia. Many of our regular customers visited with Greg to talk about his wines, wine making, life in New Zealand and food, just to name a few. We even had a few New Zealanders stop by to check out Greg's wine and reminisce about their home.
