2005 white Burgundies

Our colleague - the Vine Guy - has provided some great reviews of delicious white Burgundies. Schneider's of Capitol Hill has two of these wines available. The 2005 Boissard-Lardy Meursault Genevrieres Premier Cru and the 2005 Gambal Chassagne Montrachet.

2005 red Burgundy

The Vine Guy from the DC Examiner brings us some of the best of 2005 red Burgundy. We currently have the 2005 Champy Bourgogne Pinot Noir Cote d'Or, about which Scott has the following to say:

A great value in this vintage, it features scents of red fruit and dried herbs with flavors of raspberry, black cherry and cherry cola on the palate. Abundant acidity keeps the fruit in harmony and adds to the medium-bodied finish.
